Welcome!

THE (B.H.C. A.B.E.R.I.) "POST KATRINA" BLUEPRINT TO IMPROVING THE BLACK COMMUNITIES.

Racism

Many Blacks actually promote racism against their own people. These Blacks promote the information that they receive from the very people who have discriminated against them. From Black politicians to Black religious leaders.

Many Blacks ask what can we do? We know the problems but what are the solutions?

First Blacks must understand that racism is caused by Blacks believing that Blacks are inferior not by believing that whites superior.

Secondly, almost every aspect of the lives of Black men, Black women and Black children is controlled by whites. This is not because whites are controlling of Black's lives but is because Blacks allow their lives to be controlled. Everything from Black religious beliefs to Black stereo types.

For those Blacks who truely want to stop the disparities and discrimination of Blacks in America and in the world, they must first be honest with themselves about where they get their information from and how that information differs between Blacks and whites.

When receiving any information regarding Blacks, whites or any other aspect of life from any individual, group, agency, etc., Black consumer's first question should always be
" Where did you get your information from?"

POEM

DEAR   MOM:

TELL ME MOM, WHY WAS I BORN?

HOW DID I COME TO BE?

WAS MY DADDY THERE TO HOLD YOUR HAND?

WHILE YOU WERE HAVING ME?

DID MY DADDY SAY THE WORDS?

“I LOVE YOU MORE THAN LIFE?”

WERE YOU JUST ANOTHER GIRL?

OR WERE YOU DADDY’S WIFE?

DID HE HOLD ME IN HIS ARMS?

WITH LOVE AND PRIDE AND JOY?

OR DID HE LEAVE WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING?

IF YOU HAD A GIRL OR BOY?

DOES HE EVEN KNOW MY NAME?

DOES HE KNOW THAT I EXIST?

AM I MY DADDY’S HEART AND SOUL?

OR JUST ANOTHER CHILD ON HIS LIST?
DID YOU EVEN LOVE MY DAD?
AND DID HE LOVE YOU BACK?
WAS IT THAT HE HAD NO MEANS?

OR WAS IT A CONSCIENCE THAT HE LACKED?

WAS DADDY NOT THE ONE FOR YOU?
WAS IT HARD FOR YOU TO SEE?
DID YOU THINK YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE?

BUT WAS NUMBER TWENTY-THREE?

DID MY DAD DESTROY YOUR LIFE?
OR DID HE JUST PAVE THE WAY?

FOR YOU TO FIND YOUR FUTURE KING?

AND BE A QUEEN SOMEDAY?

I KNOW IT’S HARD FOR YOU TO SEE?

THAT GOD, HE HAS A PLAN?

AND THAT A QUEEN MUST ALWAYS FIND HER KING?

AND NOT JUST ANY MAN.

SO KEEP YOUR FAITH IN GOD, DEAR MOM,

AND YOU’LL LIVE HAPPILY,

FOR NOW YOU KNOW, IT TAKES A KING

TO RAISE A FAMILY.
